Ambiguity I
Above:Solved
The above is currently the only image for this item.
Twelve truncations which are used for a twenty-sided variant and stickered with twelve different colours. Very ambiguous modification!

A variant made to confuse the owner. It (and its cousin "Ambiguity II") can be understood only when one knows how to cut down a 3x3x3 into the shape of a dodecahedron and an icosahedron.
For this variant twelve cuts were applied to the 3x3x3. To get a true platonic dodecahedron the cuts would have to be different. To get an icosahedron the cuts are right but additional eight cuts would have been necessary. The stickers continue to confuse the user since they were appropriate for a true dodecahedral solid.
