The creator took two megaminx's, removed the parts of one layer on both and glued the remaining puzzles into one. The result are two megaminx's where 6 sides are still moveable.
By the time it was presented it was one of the very few fused megaminxes out there. The concept of Fusing two puzzle has been implemented only for NxNxN's so far.
Only months after the first sample a very similar version (named "Cloneminx") was presented.
