The concept of the Xenomorphix applied to a 2x2x2.

Although this design is named after the Xenomorphix it was not inspired by it.
The idea was to "fisher" a pyramorphix: To twist the puzzle's axis system around one axis by 45 inside the solid.
As a result the eight pieces all have the same shape but four are symmetric duals to the others.
The idea was concieved by Steve Marshall. Chandler Griscom then designed the extensions which can be bought from shapeways. The 2x2x2 inside of the puzzle has to be contributed by the buyer himself.
