This puzzle combines two concepts of modding a puzzle. All twelve edges of a 3x3x3 are replaced with truncated edges known from the octagon. A piece shuffle would be sufficient given enough octagons. However these piece were made by hand from the builder.
The variant is stickered like the ultimate cube but adapted to the new shape.
