This puzzle combines the axis systems of a 3x3x3 and a restricted Little Chop which is a deepcut edge turning hexahedron. This puzzle allows 6 twists of 90° each and two twists of 180° each. Because of the restriction of the edge turning axis system this puzzle can not jumble.
The puzzle uses magnets as utility to make the mechanisms more stable. Stability is the reason, why the other 4 moves from the Little Chop were not implemented.
In 2008 the concept for a puzzle like this was presented by Dragan Tuti? under the name "Slash Cube" but he never presented a working prototype.
