A bandaged Dogic extended into the shape of an octahedron.
This puzzle was made from a Dogic which had become rare again by the time of this transformation. This transformation was inspired by one of the images in this article:
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Octahedron.html
Mathworld even tells us, that the edges of the resulting octahedron are divided in the golden ratio. The puzzle doesn't need to be made from a Dogic. An Impossiball or a corners only megaminx suffices too.
The images for this puzzle do not show the original puzzle but a rebuilt version from 2011 made by Karl-Heinz Diekmann.
