A megaminx transformed into a shape similar to the Reuleaux tetrahedron.
This is the first megaminx which shape was transformed into a somewhat tetrahedral shape. The second attempt was made by Eitan Cher, would have resulted in a slightly different shape but was never finished. The third attempt was finished by Andreas Nortmann (named Pyrainx) and has the shape of an unpillowed tetrahedron which make it way bigger than the transformation shown here.
This creation has been rebuilt by Traiphum Prungtaengkit who is known that he transforms every puzzle into tetrahedral shape. He presented three different versions 2 years later under the name "ReuleauxMinx". See images 3-5.
Edge length: 90 mm
Weight: 151 grams
