A fully functional 5x5x6 custom made from a 6x6x6

A 6x6x6 V-Cube was used as basis for this cuboid. This is one of cuboids which can not change shape.
In order to make it, a 6x6x6 has to be prepared to be a core. See image 3 Then it has to be covered with 14x14 mm squares made from 1 mm plastic sheets. The top and the bottom layers can be finished with stacks of 1 mm plastic sheets. See images 4-5.
Size: 75 x 75 x 90 mm

The second 5x5x6 was made by Tanner Frisby in 2010.
The third 5x5x6 was built by Sebastian Johannesen from Denmark in 2017.

In 2016 Ilya Toporgilka made a giant 5x5x6 cuboid by bandaging and extending an 8x8x8 with 1.5 mm plastic sheets. Each cubie is 18 mm.
See image 6.
Size: 90 x 90 x 108 mm

In march 2021 Ilya Toporgilka also made a 5x5x6 cuboid out of a 6x6x6. It took 20 hours to make. Ilya Toporgilka could do it faster because he rounded each 14 x 14 mm square and handcut stickers.
