A fully functional and fully proportional 4x4x6 made from a 4x4x4.
The first version of this puzzle is a Rubiks Revenge with two additional layers. It was inspired by the first 2x2x6 (made by Geert Hellings) which was made from a 4x4x4 too.
Size: 65 x 65 x 109 mm
On Tony Fisher's version, though, there was a problem when after 30 degree turn is done, babyface pieces can fall off during incomplete moves.
In 2011 Tom van der Zanden presented a completely new design which can be purchased via Shapeways. Beginning in 2012 mass production of Tom's version started.
This version comes with five differently coloured bodies:
black, white, blue, checker I (blue & white) and checker II (black & white)
Size: 60 x 60 x 90 mm
Weight: 220 grams
