A 5x5x5 without corners, wings and edges. The X- and T-faces are distinguishable.
This puzzle was built parallel to the first physical Pyraminx Ultimate by the same inventor. Both puzzles were made by extending a regular Rubik's Cube in all six directions in a fully functional way. Their possible movements are identical to a 5x5x5. Compared with this 5x5x5 some pieces are missing.
A puzzle in this shape was realized years ago but this were non-functional shape transformations. This is the first fully functional version.
The cubies have the size of an original Rubik's cube.
Diameter: 95 mm
In 2017 a mass produced version, named "3x3x5 Cross-Cube" hit the market.
