A rainbow cube with the squares "deleted" by extensions.

Jürgen Brandt was the first who came up with a puzzle equivalent to this. Back then that puzzle was built from scratch. Please see the articles-section for more details. This version was made not later than 2003.
An easier way to make this puzzle is to modify a rainbow cube by gluing extensions onto the square faces. This was first published by Geert Hellings in January 2008.
