Standard cube with opposite colours split in half and arranged so that each half is together with one half of the complementary colour.
This modification is often mistaken as Redmill Cube. However, the Redmill Cube only uses four colors.
In the "Rubik's Cubic Compendium" (see the separate entry) there is only a black and white sketch without mentioning the colors. But in David Singmaster's Cubic Circular, Issue 3&4, page 10 there is a brief description: "Peter Redmill sends a different type of edge colouring. He has each face split in half. The halves can be viewed as corresponding to edges. There is a way to colour the edges with four colours so the three colours of each edge are along three orthogonal intersecting edges, as shown."
