Could we have a subforum called "Recycling Bin"? All of the repeat threads are moved there. Perhaps we could have a flag or "Recycle" button someone could click to send repeat threads to the Recycling Bin.
Perhaps 3-5 flags gets it sent. That or have a couple of users who are online often who would be responsible enough to move repeat threads.
Seriously, if I see another thread asking the price of a puzzle mod.... Oi. >_<

Also, if you're a well known bin builder people might wanna spend an extra buck, just for that. I guess a signed Tony Fisher Recycle Bin could fetch as much as 100 Brazil Reais. Thomas

Besides learning more algorithms, how can I get faster?
Stickers or tiles?
Eastsheen or Rubik's?

I hate all of these stupid threads with repititive questions. There's a search function, price tracker, database, and I believe the majority of people have a brain. They just don't care to use it or are to lazy to.

There are still other tools. I've used google several times when searching for a thread when the new search function was to no avail.

I'm not defending those that ask repeated questions, but it does seem to me that there is a difference between before when we could say, "Use the search function," and now when the response is more like, "Use the search function and then, when that fails, leave the site, use an outside search engine to search this site, and then and only then actually post your topic."
Using a forum's search function to see if something has been covered before on that forum is simply good etiquette, using a totally unrelated search engine to see if something has been covered before on a forum isn't intuitive and is hardly something that can be expected of someone not used to our less functional search function.
Once again, I am not defending those that ask repeated questions, I'm just commenting on how the changed search function has, in my mind, slightly altered the landscape.

But the problem is that people are asking questions that don't require searching, just even reading the topics every once in a while. For example, look at when someone bumped the "NEW CUBES" topic, and then someone asks "How much will they cost?" When there' s a topic exactly on that message that's been actively discussed for days.
While I'm not saying that people should be familiar with every topic, but when there's a topic of "What is the estimated price on a 7x7 V-Cube?", it just shows extreme laziness for someone to ask about the price in another topic.
