There are numerous threads I have already found to be not interesting for me, so I ignore them. But I have to do it manually, over and over again. Would be extremely helpful to be able to mark a thread as "ignore" so that the "New posts" page doesn't display them anymore.

Not exactly what you want, but you can ignore posts by certain users, I have a few on my list.

Go to your Control Panel and add them to your Foes list.

That wouldn't work. I ignore most threads, and many of them are legitimate with content interesting for others, and by people I wouldn't consider foes. I don't see a pattern, let alone a strong correlation with persons. I'd really need to individually mark threads to ignore.

I agree. I'd much rather have threads like the accomplishment thread or the truth or dare thread not show up on my new posts list anymore.

If I ignored someone, then they started a new topic, would I see it?

or if in that said topic someone else who I don't ignore would i see the topic?
