In the "3D 15 Puzzles" like those depicted, what's the actual puzzle?

In the Magic Jack (http://www.magicjack.com) the puzzle is comprised of both the position of the cubies (to reach some solutions, cubies must be cycled from "inside" the puzzle to the "outside") and the arrangement of the cubies within a face (the faces themselves have patterns.)

On the "Slide Seven", is it also the case that the cubies are not consistently colored, making this the 3D equivalent of the "Instant Insanity" cubes? Most of the pictures show them in a "solved" position so it's hard to tell.

Slide Seven is really the puzzle like "Magic Jack".
I think the color on the oppsite side of the small cube is black.

I want to get puzzle "Roundy 3color/ 6color".
I looked it on Hendrik Haak's web site.
He is writing a nice puzzle from germany in 3 different designs:
3 colors, 6 colors (without picture) and 6 colors with print).
