I know that lately all I've been making is sticker variations that are easy and then posting pictures. Let me know if I'm wasting anyone's time by putting easy puzzles on here, but I just wanted to show what I've been up to and the usefulness of a plotter. You could do both of these sticker variations with just a set of stickers, I just did it my way. Just let me know if I'm wasting a thread!

The Ultimate Cube was made from a knock-off cube, so the centers have a little crater in them. It's not that noticeable and doesn't change the puzzle except for cosmetic reasons. I mainly wanted to use puzzles that I didn't want to cut so that I didn't have to go back one day and take off the stickers to use the pieces for a build. I guess they are up for sale if anyone thinks that they should be. They are not fragil or anything because they aren't Rubik's brand, the ultimate just has that dimple in it, but otherwise they work fine.

You should open an ebay store and sell all of these sticker variations!

Isn't that what Cubesmith does?

Not knocking you Superman - but I believe I have seen these variations before. But yeah, keep making your mods. It's great to see new puzzles. :D

I know that these are already done. In fact, I copied them directly from a picture I found of each. I forgot to include that in my first post, that's another reason why I thought that it might be a useless post. Show I sell stickers, or the whole puzzle? I don't want to undermine Cubesmith, so I won't do any of the stickers that he sells. I respect him and his work.

He doesn't sell any of these variants.

The Rubenking Cube is not the same, though. It does use the same shapes, but mine has only four colors. I got my ideas off of eBay from a seller that sells alot of puzzles, but he/she lives in the UK (which takes a while to ship here) so I figured I'd make my own instead.

When I said that I wasn't going to do any of the stickers that Cubesmith does, I meant that I won't make normal stickers or any of the ones he already does, but I'd be glad to make sets like these or of the other sets I've made such as the dice cube and glow cube. When I have time (I just got a new job) I will work on more ideas, but for now my schedule is really full.

If anyone would like a set of any of the stickers that I have made, just let me know!

The Ultimate Cube is in fact the Parberry Cube.
I would appreciate if you could make some sticker variations for me, as I made these whenever I read about them years ago, with scissors!
The Hofstadter Cube

The Splitted Color Cube (a supergroup cube thought out by myself)

I would of course pay your price for the stickers if you think you can manage this for me (I have enough cubes left from 1982 to apply the stickers)

I think the Triangle Cube (another supergroup cube I created) will do as I made it

As long as you won't bore us with a "different" foolers cubes per day nobody will say a word against you.
And: Well done!

No worries. I'm not saying you are ripping him off. Just saying where I saw something similar.

I'll just shut up now and stop confusing you. :P

I always enjoy seeing sticker variations...I'm not really talented enough (enter Dirty Harry with "a man's gotta know his limitations") to do real mods myself and so I play around with sticker ideas that I mostly see on here. So for me anyway they are helpful.

Awesome.

I'm actually going to sell these along with the dice cube. I just feel like I need to sell them. It's not really for the money, I just got a new job and it pays ok. I just like selling stuff I guess. Look for them later in the Marketplace when I put them on eBay.

The thing is, the Ultimate is not a Rubik's brand cube and has little dents in the center pieces. It's not that noticeable unless you take a picture of it really close with the flash on. The camera can be relentless. It still works great and is a challenge to solve (takes a good bit longer than normal, for me at least). That dent just did it in and made it look more noticeable than it already is.

Thanks! I want to apologize though for the poor quality of the Ultimate Cube. I just made it on a whim, and didn't expect to sell it. I'll see about a store, I don't know if I can put alot of time into it, I'll just have to see how my job progresses, it's quite demanding.

And Thanks for looking so closely! I didn't think of it as negative, I like people who examine my work that closely. It shows that only good eyes can see it, so it's gotta be at least decent! I want to get it out there that it is not a Rubik's brand cube so no one will be disappointed. It doesn't really bother me what kind it is, but it might bother others.

I don't know if it has been done but is it possible for you to make stickers of each color with a black outline? Mainly for cubes with different colored plastic.
