It's so cute!!!!! I love to have one but of course I never taken apart a magic or put togther a broken one or put one together one full complete magic for that matter. If you understood the last sentence then could I please buy 1 from you that comes assembled.
I still think your name should be on there like Tony Fisher or any other builder for that matter because then I know who made it and then it means much more to me then. I'm damn sure I never seen this one done before but don't quote me on this.
Mike (A.K.A. skeneegee) Grimley (I hope I spelled that right?) If not I'm sorry didn't mean to mess it up.

I'm looking to hire a "magic assembler" that would be willing to
make one of these cute little things for me! As probably the
oldest member of this forum (50+), I'm well past the ability to
learn new tricks (LOL). So, one of you youngsters, please make
me an offer!

The magic zero is an excellent magic whose design was made by skenegee (Mike). I made it for myself after Mike made public the paper tile template. It was too nice to not do one LOL
There are many of us who could do this (Erik for example), but in my opinion Mike should be asked for permission first!
(remember, this not for personal use, this is for trading/selling - but I also feel that we should find some way to supply magics wherever there is demand!)
Mike?

Actually, I know Mike designed it . . . you were the one who told me
I asked Mike first - he doesn't have blank tiles, nor the time to do it. He suggested I post a request on the forum. He volunteered the information that the template was posted here as well.
I try to play fair

I made my own 4 tile magic when a string slipped off my 8 tile. It had a smiley and when you solved it it was a frowny face !

There is much more to do with smileys:
On the same face of the puzzle you can add a combination of three expressions:
Happy, sad, and confused, i.e. , ,
The next thing to consider is to make the eyes fit with the mouth expression, i.e. when happy is looking up, when sad is looking down, and when confused each eye is looking in different direction LOL
There is even a way to make a "nose" appear in different colors!
And that is just one side, the other side could be another "array" of expressions!

By the way, here is Mark's post regarding the hybrid:

Isn't it quite trivial to solve as you can apply like, one transform on it?

It has a total of only eight flat combinations. It can become easy once you get familiar with it, but it can be very confusing in the beginning. Some of my friends can solve it, but only by trying again and again LOL
It uses 4 types of different moves/transforms:
- two star transforms (one parallel and one vertical), and
- two circle transforms (again, one parallel and one vertical).
Aaaaah.... it is probably the only magic that can be described so easily!

It's stringed as a normal magic right? Only shorter..
