So the object of this one is to have it alternating in black and white?
Or are you going to put chess piece images on the tops and bottom?

I was thinking of chess pieces pictures, but domino is a better idea!

How would you make the dominos line up?
I think a few great ideas for this you could make this puck into several puzzles at one time.
Firstly solve the domino puck with the black on one side, and white on the other.
Second, solve the puck with an even number on the top as the bottom. Such as an even total for all the pips, or same number on top as on bottom.
Third, solve the puck so that the top piece and bottom piece add up to the same amount for every slice.

There are some great mathematical domino sites that can give you some insight into this positioning.

thats true Joey, but once he puts the domino pattern on it you will have to line those up if what I'm thinking is correct, and that will make it just as hard as any otehr puck or harder b/c of the 2 layers

I'm thinking 2 layer pucks are easier. It would be able to adapt many Square-1 algorithms.

Yes i agree 2-layers is easier. It does allow for some short-ish nice commutator 3-cycles. Sorta similar to both square-1 and masterball algorithms i guess ...
