how do you remove the Upload Quota thing on you profile?

I imagine that this site is strained enough, and with only one advertisement to help pay the bill, we should be grateful we can upload at all.

How about just not posting unnecessarily huge and thus wasteful images, that might solve the problem.

I removed the big images and replaced them with smaller ones but the Upload Quota
thing is still there.

Hmm... actually, where do you see that quota? I don't see one in my profile. Also, what are you trying to upload where and how large is it?

Btw, it's impossible to search for your posts, probably because your name is too short:

Nope, just click on "Profile" and change. All the previous posts you've done will get the new name.

I've seen the quota thing before, but I could swear the limit was "unlimited". Are you actually not able to upload?

Don't worry, I'm able to upload it is just that I want to remove it from my
profile because I didn't see any other upload quota things on anybody else's
profiles. Ok, good it worked so now I'm Myke not K. here is what the
upload quota thing looks like in my profile.

It seems everyone's quota is unlimited. If too much space gets used I'm sure Sandy can set quota's for everyone. People can only ever see their own quota, as it is regarded as private info.



P.S. Isn't quota plural? Shouldn't it really be quotum?

Quota comes from the Latin expression "quota pars", feminine, "what number"
In that use, it did have plural quotae (when I learned Latin ages ago , but in English the only plural is "quotas" apparently. So it never was a neuter.
