As usual, I couldn't wait doing this, so here I present it to you...:

"The Secret of Atlantis" Puzzle

Image

"Thousands years ago, there existed a powerful civilization, whose residents became very
corrupted by greed and power, and were destroyed by the wrath of Zeus, the King of the
Olympians Gods. Until today, historians and explorers are still trying to answer the questions of
what happened to the lost continent of Atlantis and how it disappeared.

The answer is simple. Atlantis still exists, but has shrunk into a small puzzle. This is the secret of Atlantis... a puzzle that holds within it a legend of infinite knowledge..."

In the two solved states of the Secret of Atlantis, one solution shows a volcano looking at the
capital of Atlantis, and the other solution shows two Corinthian columns.

Scrambled states of the Secret of Atlantis:

Example of non-existence of parity problem:

A small VIDEO may be viewed HERE, which shows the moves between the two different parity states.

A single loop odd numbered tile magic has no parity problems, i.e. an odd numbered tile magic,
has on average, two times the combinations of an even numbered tile magic.
In terms of appearance, this 9-tile magic myth puzzle looks like a piece of art.
I am scared to scramble it because the solved states look very attractive, and I can't believe I actually built this thing... or... maybe it wasn't me after all...!

Well at this stage, I have ran out of ideas and tiles LOL
(expecting soon the next shipment though...!)

There are two solved states. One of them is the column, and the other one is a volcano looking at the capital of Atlantis...!

Plus, I was wondering, which magics are under copyright? I mean, I definitely don't want to do anything I am not supposed to, but I would love to "push" further some of my ideas.

The reason I am asking this, is because the patent for the magic seems to cover a wide range of (unknown and unpublished) puzzles. And from an abstract view, it seems to even cover the Flexible Hexagon mechanism which was published by another company!
Moreover, the patent keeps talking about flat shapes (that eventually can become 3-d), but does not mention shapes which are always in 3-d state.
Link here.

I think patents are deliberately made too general and not precise...

*confused* :?
