I had that same feeling when I picked up my boxed Dice off ebay... including shipping the total was $6 USD. I don't recall a set thats gone for over $10 in recent memory... a fun & challenging puzzle but not very popular these days.

I noticed a similar one on a German auction - a quick run through Babel Fish produced:
"approx.. 9.5 cm largely. Well playable, tries, to steer the three balls by the 3-D-Labyrinth. But these want to go their own way!"
It looks interesting

Congrats for winning Kastellorizo
Georges, why did you bid so much if you already have 2 or 3 trickhauses? Is there any other interesting puzzle in the lot?

Thanks!
Besides the two mentioned, there is some russian pyraminx, and a 3x3x3 cube that looks like an ideal one. The rest is more or less little dexterity puzzles etc.
But I only bid because of the trickhaus!
I agree, the amount was high, but I am pretty sure there must have been others who also bid, and were already outbid when they did it a couple of seconds after me and georges did. Thus, no other names in the bidder list!

reeeech,,,, but my auction also bring a fully new dogic and a sealed diamond puzzle :):)
only the dogic cost around 25gpb in meffert, 39$, the diamond puzzler can be quite expensive.......
I did that math: Each puzzle 18 euro. Astrolabacus 18 euro, dogic 18 euro, diamond 18 euro, 2 naokis 18 euro......... :):) I think it was such a nice price! :):)
Mashick, nice catch the boob one!!!

Can anybody tell me where does that wisdom ball come from? That doesn't seem new, it seems to be from 1994 (there is that date on the box)
Can anybody tell me more details please?
Thanks,
David

Thanks Georges,
But I want to know about that version. Maybe some american can tell me where it cames from. The seller cannot remember very well. He told me that it's for the 90's, in the box tell that it' for 1994.
I agree, Jaaps page is amazing!
But... what's about the 2x2 Head I showed you? This one doesn't appear neither on jaaps' nor twisty... so.... where can I find now? hehehe
Regards,

Two pyraminx keychains and a babylonian tower keychain, along with a few others. The interesting this is that this was posted with a starting bid of $5.00 and a BIN of $9.99. The first person to bid put in a bid of $8 (and the BIN disappears). And in the end, his max bid was $50 and he didn't even win.
I wonder why he didn't want to pay the extra $2 to get it immediately.

Well,
I was too late to have the chance to get it for $9.99, but I'm glad that he missed it and I won because of the Pyramixes and the Tower. I was looking for something like that for a longer time now

Are you saying all grooved ones are horrible? I don't think so. I have three and yes, one is pretty bad (loose, pops), but the other two aren't. I also think selling on Sunday evening (as was the case of that grooved auction) is a bad idea.

I always refer to http://chrono.org/puzzlepics/2dominos.jpg
And look at the "2" square when it's on the bottom. I got a groove domino and it was sticky at first, but once I cleaned it, it turns pretty smooth.

How about the Russian Domino??? Is it "groove" or "spindle" version???
The dots of Russian Domino do not match either one.

Both white/black "2"s tilt to the same side.

I was the winner of the groove Domino for $37. I thought it was a good price, even for a groove version. I believe it was the lowest selling Domino on eBay for some time.
Now I just need to find a spindle Domino for a good price.
