I'm curios about one thing, on my orevious magic after a fewq days some wires broke, and it continued tilll the magic was useless. When i watch videos of speedsovling magic, they dont seem to worry about that? is it normal that wires break, or just professionals don't worry about that? So if they know how not to ddestroy the wires, could someone tell spare me the details?

i think that you need to play with a magic a few hours before you want to speed solve with them. this helps break in the wires. kind of like breaking in a rubiks cube. i have only had 1 string break on 3 different magics. i am careful with mine but i can do 1.5 sec solves as well. im not world record fast but i can solve fast on them. i use another method where you dont place the magic on the table i do it all in one smooth motion. ill post a video if i get a chance

Adam has a point, go slowly, let the strings stretch a bit first, even when you 'break it in', do a few slow goes before trying to go fast, warm up the strings first.

On the very first twist move, dont force the twist, let the pieces fall into place, they will. I think the key is to be smooth and relaxed.

I rarely try to speedsolve magics though.....

here is a video of me playing with a magic. nothing very fast or anything. i think my fastest was 1.73. i do a slow solve so you can see what i am doing with my fingers then i speed up so you can see how it looks fast. i have an front view and an over head view. i hope this helps you.

i can go faster but its harder when you are sitting down. this is the same way Quinn Lewis does his solves he is the magic World Record holder.

, Now that is whhat i call a good tutorial, I am extremely gratefoul for your video, i had a problem with the second phase of solving the magic, and your video gave me a clue. one thing: If someone has a red rubiks magic, in order to use Adam's method, you have to lay it upside down from the "normal" position.
