 Post subject: Not exactly speedsolving, but a puzzle solution question.Posted: Mon Jun 12, 2006 9:39 pm

Now, if I were to scramble a fully functional 3x3x5 using only U,u,D,d,L2,R2,F2,B2, would I be able to solve the inner 3x3x3 using a domino solution then a few hand made algoithms for the e layer, then solve the top and bottom layers using a domino solution again?

All of this is hypothetical though. I don't have a 3x3x5. I wish I did though.

Certainly, though I would do the middle layer last.

when i mix my 3x3x5 that way i use alot of domino algs to solve it. it takes alot of thinking though. not a speedsolving puzzle, for sure.

I wouldn't attempt to speed solve it, that's for sure. It would be too pretty.
