Would it be a good idea to have a section like the member collections but where we can put our fastest speedcubing times; but rather than having one like at speedcubing.com have one where we can view it person by person?
Thanks Joe

We could trust the people but we could also have a bit where we put our videos. Or even better have a place where people like Tony Fisher and other people could send their videos into so we can watch custom puzzles. I really want to see Greenhills Tetrehedron in play!!!

I already have thought about something like that.
A speedcubing community, with profiles of each puzzle enthusiasm.
But instead of focusing on the puzzles, it would be more of a puzzle collector/solver site.
If you want infos on puzzles, then this is already the perfect place.
But if you want info on other cubers, then it's a little bit harder.
Maybe in the near future I will bring such a community to life.

Then you can have a fastest times section that is divided up into each timed puzzle. I would like to have a section for fast times of the Morph puzzle. I'm getting really fast with it, mostly I get lucky solves though. he he

I'm not a speedcuber but I hold a nought seconds record with this handcrafted 1x1x1 cube that I sold on ebay a year ago for $2. So I won't be able to post a video any longer http://www.helm.lu/cube/cubcol/1x1_487.jpg

Lol yeah it'd be awesome to have a site like that but If you made it like entirely on your own and you didn't just link to YouTube, it'd take forever to make.... but if anyone every does try to do something like that and they need some advice or some outside imput, I'm ur man!

To win my 1,000,000 Euro price for a nought second 1x1x1 solve you'll need to repeat that time using a StackMat Georges.

Beware Tony! I am developing a special stackmat with a differed clock mechanism to account for friction and air resistance issues.

To be honest, I don't think we need a special video section, Pembo was right, just link to youtube videos. Or metacafe, or your prefered site.

The best idea would be to have a video section within twistypuzzles, and not send everyone in a million directions on the internet watching videos. That is my opinion.

There's nothing stopping people from posting ridiculous collections in their member collection, so there should be nothing to stop people from posting ridiculous records for their PRs. A lot of people do it in their sigs anyway, without any proof.
I think it's a great idea, but it would be sort of spoiled by videos unless they were made very inconspicuous (i.e. click on a record -> get video if there is one) and not mandatory (not everyone can or wants to take videos of everything).
On the other hand, it would be cool if the more exotic puzzles on the site had videos about their mechanism and so on.

No one is going to make up their fastest times anyway, we are all good and honest people, and who would they be impressing anyway?

The new signatures I made should help alittle, they automatically query your official records in all main events (3x3,2x2, 4x4, 5x5, magic, master magic, 3x3 oh and 3x3 bld).

Yeah im lying without a doubt when i tell you guys my records, putting me as like the 2nd slowest speedcuber on here... I dont hink you have to worry about me lying :p
To the YouTube or TwistyPuzzles video thing...
it would be far kore convenient for people who have like dial-up to have it on this site, but if tyaht isn't possible YouTube is the next betst thing!
