Hello grigr,

I am really interested in these kind of puzzles. But I am at the very beginning. I have the 3x3 DIY bandaged kit and fiddling around with that. When I saw the spiral cube I immediately want to try it. But I must admit that it is too hard. I simply dont have a strategy. With most puzzles my strategy is to reduce the puzzle to a point where it can be handled like a puzzle which I already know. With many bandaged puzzles this doesnt work (or I dont understand how it works).
As far as I can see you are the most experienced solver with this kind of puzzles.
What would be really nice if you could do some tutorial videos about the general principles of bandaged puzzles and how one can approach to solve these puzzles. (Or did you post some strategies already??)

Best regards
Dr. Twist

I would really appreciate this as well. I use algorithms from three different ways I know to solve a normal 3x3x3 and also some Cuboid algorithms. Lately I also made up some algorithms of my own which worked pretty well on some Bandaged Puzzles.

Still, even with all these, I came to the conclusion I'm missing a lot of algorithms and strategies to solve the more difficult (and also some of the easier) Bandaged 3x3x3. As of now, I know about 85 bandaged puzzles, but I've only solved about 25 of them, and am probably able to solve another 15 when I try, but I have no idea how to even begin with most others.

Greetz,
Quuador
