Hi Twisty Puzzles fans,

Anarchy Cube is an anarchistic Rubik's Cube. It has six centers, twelve edges and eight corners, but they are scattered all around. Can you turn it into a cube?

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.
Read more at the Shapeways Forum.
Check out the photos below.

Enjoy!

Oskar

I can't see how it can be turned into a cube. But who knows? Oskar is Oskar after all.

Is this the total freedom cube we've been waiting for but just scrambled?

Can't be. The middle is too packed together to allow 45 degree turns.

Just realized that. Now I guess one is supposed to solve this off-center from a normal cube?

From the first pic we can see three center pieces. Which two are actually at the center location, while one is in corner location.

Oskar asked "Can you turn it into a cube". My first thought is may be not according to the colors? To make a cube form which it's solved state is similar to ghost cube, but when you see the whole thing it's flat.

Well I'm punching myself as there are at least two centers are really at the center location. So that's a wrong idea I think.

I'm guessing there's a single skewb move which can be done, and rotating that half way can make it all into a cube.

How can you do a skewb move on a 3x3x3 cut pattern?

Guys, it's the Anarchy cube. Only one face can be solved at any given time. It's a standard 3x3 mech but with pieces shaped in such a way that if the red side is flush nothing else is, and the same goes for the other colors.

It is without rule, and cannot be completely tamed. It is Anarchy!

Oskar, most of us are fans of your work, myself included, however, I think that lately you've been putting out too many abstract idea's and "puzzles". I hope you're still designing real puzzles besides these abstract idea's...
