A 2x2x2 with bandaging should be interesting, like the nightmare cube I presume.

More like keeping the inner layer in alignment, but still being flexible. V-Cube 2 has this. My version should be better. :lol:

A clue!!! From context I take RCC to mean something like Rotational Corner Cutting.... correct? A quick search of twisty puzzles and I find no earlier use of this abbreviation. So I searched the SpeedCubing forums and I do see RCC has been used before:

But it stands for Rubik's Cube Club there. Odd... So is there a group out there that uses RCC in this context?

Rotational corner cutting! :D the centers of adjacent sides turn partially to direct the corners into place, hence the weird bandaging method needed. That's why the center pieces are very rounded.
