After A slice has been pulled out of alignment and moved. Is that segment able to split further? if not I think it jumbles rather than shapeshift?

Whoah.
a) Makes an 8x8
b) Makes it shapeshift, just for laughs.

Not sure I entirely understand.

I saw a video on YouTube showcasing a lower order version of this. Just sayin.... Cool puzzle though.

Is that because of the inner parts are "fisher-cube like" mechanism? Or it can really do mixup function? No matter which one it is, this is a very incredible puzzle!

I found the video of it on Corenpuzzles youtube page.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9NUeOTzwlE&feature=c4-overview&list=UU_LeIJHmLT9dla6NUwi3zCA

It doesn’t seem to be stable and turn well when it shape-shifts, but giving that it is an unintentional feature of this puzzle, I would love to see what would happen if you had designed this puzzle with these turns in mind.

looking at the video I would say that this is not mixup moves, but rather jumbling moves. since the moves blocks other rows from moving and bandages them up. But do correct me if I am wrong.

All that said. This looks really interesting, and I hope to see more of this puzzle in the future.
