According to National Geographic:

Grigorousha's Pentagon is an interesting creature found inside the huts
of puzzle collectors. It is completely harmless to humans, and in fact, its
pleasant movement and optical enjoyment may even help to cure many
common disorders. They may be adopted as pets, but good care must be
given, as they are very delicate. It belongs to a complement-category of
the starfish, but it moves as smoothly and elegantly.
