In this method I use one simple principle which I call "three".

Main algorithm: (R' D' R) U' (R' D R) U2 (R' D' R) U' (R' D R)
Mirror version: (F D F') U' (F D' F') U2 (F D F') U' (F D' F')

Main principle: (direct three) setup move (back three) …

Using only this principle and simple setup moves we possible to resolve any situations with 4 corners.
PDF-version of manual - http://vk.com/doc185254069_237356447

For bigger understanding about what I speak please see video from 4:41 - http://youtu.be/3v_FBBlPCCQ?t=4m41s

I show as to resolve different situations using only this principle.
In the case 1 (Corners not on their places) I show 3 different situations which I resolve using only one algorithm:
1. All 3 corners are yellow up -http://youtu.be/3v_FBBlPCCQ
2. From 3 corners only one is yellow up - http://youtu.be/3v_FBBlPCCQ?t=4m41s
3. All 3 corners aren't yellow up:

The сase 1 is self-sufficient.

To understand the principle please watch my videos with subtitles in English (there I show all situations):

The same principle can be used for Megaminx.

I like this method and actually I used it to teach my wife the last layer corners a few years ago.
(She prefers though the well known R, F', R', F, R, F', R', F, U, F', R, F, R', F', R, F, R', U' = [[R,F']x2,U]) for orientating the corners.)

I picked it up in a video from our fellow member heiowge probably in the year 2010.
Did you come up with it on yourself

Yes, I think many as well as I got such method. I don't argue.
I long went myself to this method. Therefore I like this too.
And I think this method especially very good for Megaminx.

For training of my wife I too used (X Y X' Y') - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2jWxX1WbYY
It was more clear to her.

I am glad that registered at English forums, here information about Rubik's cubes has very more than on the Russian resources.

I'm sorry but probably you not correctly understand me.

Probably the case 2 confuses but the сase 1 is self-sufficient.

Thanks!

It would be nice if you could do another add on to your nice .pdf files documenting all the variations you introduced recently. I know it's a lot of work , but i liked your past documents and as i'm collecting a list of methods and yours are included this would help me.

I will try to make the manual about it later.
In this method main is first video about the case 1.

Special for you!

Thank you for taking the time to produce the pdf file.
I see you are interested in easy and "single principle" methods.
As you know I have a wide list of methods (>100 collected including substeps) and I can say you there are at least three of them which are based on a single algorithm to solve the entire cube:
- this uses only the so called "sexy move" alg RUR'U' : http://cube.crider.co.uk/beginner.php
- then there is a CPS based method by Christopher Mowla to solve both corners and edges (CPS = R U L' U' R' U L U' or similar), i have the pdf but not a direct link (i think i got it from speedsolving forum)
- and then i have the steps to solve it using only EPS = R' F R F' (there are two variations from "rline" and "burgo" forum members), link to one of the variations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daDS4GlO8BE&list=PLdc0o9bvgS-sWETarwVLVJXwsjXR_aG-d

Maybe the existence of so many methods explains why you had some harsh responses on speedsolving forum

You are welcome! I am very glad that is interesting to you!
Yes, I like an analysis of solving. This method I could receive after five years slowly supplementing it while it didn't turn into full system.
Yes, I know that there are a lot of methods, but that new I didn't show anything, too it is impossible to tell. What do you think?
I independently found simple version of the solution of each situation, with the "three"-move. I show at what signs it is necessary to look, over time it allows not to think of algorithm.
Simply probably initially me not so understood. Most likely they understood it as two steps - first is permute corners and second action is flip. But I show at once as to make these actions at the same time.
But now I gave a picture as a whole, on one leaf, and I hope people will understand that I wanted to tell. Thanks to you!
Generally now I use direct and return movements to solving of corners and edges, each time reproducing them differently. Now I could be discharged completely of algorithms, I use only the principles. Most of all puzzles I like to solve Rubik's cube 3x3x3.

You can send there information if you want.
I will be glad to look.

I will send you such pdf (CPS for all cube).
By the way there is also this old video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yZoDi_B1lI&feature=related
in which basically the same commutator you used is explained and used for corners 3-cycle: RUR' D' RU'R' D

Thanks for the link on the video!
I do not appropriated authorship on (R' D' R), (R' D R) moves as I understand that many could receive such variant for corners.
I share my vision how to decide each situation I showed on what to look for.
But I think that you understand it.
Thank you for the document too!

Commutators are powerful thing! If to understand their principle, it isn't necessary to learn algorithms.
