does anyone know what the true quality of this puzzle is? http://www.edsthinkshop.com/10038.html to me it actually looks like it could be okay quality, but it only costs 4 dollars. I just wnt to know if it has any puzzle building possibilities.

I bought one of each color, and they are fine. I'm not sure what you are looking for in terms of modifying a puzzle. For example, I don't know how if would be to weld this plastic, but it would be fine for filling with epoxy putty.

The Magic Cubes are pretty well constructed. They are a little tight and not appropriate for speed cubing, but they might work well for mods. The center cap snaps off of the spider and the centers are arched. The attached picture shows the white cube, but the green and red are the same.

The Magic Cubes I have are slightly larger than a standard cube. Maybe < 1 mm longer on each side. The cubes at partycelebration look the same except for the plastic. The old Toysmith cube I have does have black plastic, so it might be the same. They have a minimum order amount of $50.00, but if you go to their retail site ( http://www.partyareus.com/MAGIC_CUBE_PUZZLE_p/c55336.htm), you can buy them individually for $.99. I'm going to buy some just to see if they are the same.
