This is the area that could be causing the problem. If the cap can't be pushed flat remove part of the bump in the 2nd photo. This only occurs occasionally and I am not even sure if it affects the puzzle.

If I'd gotten 100 puzzles I'd probably take a boring picture of them stacked in the corner of a room. I love how epic you've made them look!

Do I have OCD if the only thing I can think about are the 5 missing ones at the top?

I am glad there wasn't 5 more. It was a windy day and those containers aren't perfectly flat. One second longer and that thing would have collapsed.

I posted on here about a week ago about how much I love this puzzle, yet I was disappointed with the stickers. CalvinFan immediately contacted me to let me know that new stickers had been sent to me free of charge. Absolutely amazing customer service, once again, from HKnowstore. I will definitely continue to buy from this vendor and look forward to more great experiences from them.

P.S. My stickers just came in the mail! Thanks calvinfan!

My replacement stickers arrived. They are definitely better when applied more carefully, stuck down properly and properly positioned :)

1. Found a blind-man solution for the hexaminx.
2. Since a 5-cycle has even parity you can rotate a single center on a hexaminx, looks funny.
As you can see the stickers are already starting to peel, might buy a new set later. (Oliver: will you come to DCD this year?)
Turning is pretty good, but I like Tony's original flat hexaminx better :-)

Got my Hexaminx ordered finally (was hoping it wouldn't sell out quick) I had already spent ÂŁ70.00 on Burgo & Rline's CrazyB4cube kit last month so had to wait until next pay-day for this.

Very excited now.

Also I guess I wont be disappointed with the stickers as I'm now expecting some peeling considering other posts on this thread. But if they are really bad does your offer of replacing them still stand Calvin?

Also does anyone know if the Golden Week in China is going to affect shipping from HK now store?

I finally received mine this weekend, no idea why it took so long as I ordered it Aug 28 and it shipped right away. Not only are many of the stickers very poorly placed, especially the small triangle ones which are hanging off of the pieces and get in the way during moves, but also some of the reflective material from the inner packaging has rubbed onto the white stickers and I haven't found an easy way to clean them without damaging them further.

An email is being sent to Calvin, hopefully he's still offering the replacement stickers.

A softish rubber removes it in a second.

I really like the Pillow Hexaminx. Mine turns well and the solve is a nice step up from a Megaminx. The sticker issue is easily solvable, with Calvin providing factory replacements, and Olivér selling his typical high-quality stickers for this puzzle.

Here is my Pillow Hexaminx with Olivér's excellent replacement stickers:

If you want to retain the original logos you can peel them off from the original stickers and add them to the new ones.

Oliver, I'll see you at DCD and get a replacement set of Hexaminx stickers from you (for the mass-produced version - Traiphum's are in perfect condition).
My Hexaminx is at customs in Frankfurt and hopefully will arrive soon. From what I've read here, a replacement set of stickers may be good.

I finally got my order in from HKNowStore, and was so excited to rip into it, only to find that they had sent me everything else in my order except for the hexaminx . I was looking forward to playing with it, and now I'll have to wait another 2 weeks, and that's banking on Calvin responding to my email ASAP and sending me the rest of my order. Didn't mean to rant, but I'm slowly becoming more and more disappointed with HKNowStore.

Good luck! I sent an insured tracked puzzle to Germany a while ago and for the last month it has been at Frankfurt sorting.

It has arrived in the meantime. Calvin will send a new sticker set. (Some stickers are quite bad.)
Otherwise, it is a good puzzle!
Here is mine besides Traiphum's handmade version:

It should be easy to tell, which is which.

Still, the mass-produced version has a high quality, in my view.

My Hexaminx came and as of late I have been playing with it nonstop. It is better to play with than my money puzzle. The only thing I have to complain about are the stickers. So I will order a set from Oliver.

My Hexaminx just this second arrived!!! which is pretty phenomenal considering I ordered it on October 1st and they were on a national holiday untill Monday 8th and dispatched it then.

Amazing postage from HKnowstore!

I am at work at the moment so i'm not able to play around with it but on first inspection the I do not see any peeling stickers so I am very lucky but I imagine they wont stay that way so I will be making my way to Olivers when my bank has more money. the only issue is the same as Volitar Primes my white side is discoloured and smudged, I doesn't seem to be coming off. (I will try Tony's advice when i can get a rubber)

I cant wait to get home and play with that and my new Siamese Mirror blocks cube :D

It is a lot smaller than I expected, but I am always surprised by the size of puzzles I order. They just always seem bigger in youtube videos.

ADDITION: The rubber removing the marks on the white side worked a charm thank you Tony.

The boss stepped out so I gave it a few twists and I automatically see problems with catching but the great thing about this forum is that I know the problem and the solution before I have even encountered it, when I get home I will check all the caps and make sure there is no flashing.

Also I noticed some of the pieces are hollow with no caps, is this supposed to be?

I have two of them now (one from hknowstore and one from Tony Fisher) and both came with some slight sticker issues, but no big deal. The one from hknowstore had a core part that was stripped (only 3 threads holding the screw in) and Calvin quickly sent me a new core and stickers. I'm going to take apart the one from Tony tonight to lube the core (I hate spring noise :) ).

I will echo Tony about the catching....take apart every edge piece and xacto knife that nub off and then the caps stay recessed and the catching completely goes away.

I will say that this is one of most fun puzzles I've ever solved.

I agree this is a really fun puzzle to solve, after several solves though the stickers were coming off in several places, I opted to resticker with Mefferts textured vinyl like Tonys originals, and it looks and feels a lot better now.
A great puzzle, love solving it.

Yay Finally got my pillowed Hexaminx! Wow this thing is a beast when scrambled. I think my megaminx solving method is actually quite suitable for solving this because I was able to conquer it on the first try, during dinner (sorry, family! I know it's rude). What a great puzzle and I'm really thankful to the creators for getting this out there for us at a reasonable price.

All I need now is a new set of stickers. Pointy corners already peeling up bad after 1 solve.
