Atomicahedron (aka Void Master Pentultimate)

pattern on the face of like the structure of the atom, so I gave her the name Atomicahedron ...
it is very important to me puzzle, I was going to build it for several years - it is the first mechanism that I came up with!
but I did not have enough experience and knowledge, first I had to build a lot more other puzzles to before make Atomicahedron.
I got the details of half a year ago, but they have been bad quality, and I thought it would don't turn, but it turned out well!

What do you mean by "first puzzle design"? E.g. the Slim 3x3x3 I have got from you was not designed by you???
The puzzle looks great :D and I'm looking forward to a video showing how it turns.

Great work! I cannot wait for one of these to hit mass production. I have always wanted a large pentultimate (PAW project envy).

That looks really nice. How well does a Master Pentultimate turn using this interlocking rails / void mechanism?

So few images for such amazing puzzles should be forbidden!

Please do not forget to post some measurements.

That's an amazing feat Grigr - thank you - hopefully I can buy one in the future.

My question to the forum though, is how does one get an ordinary pentultimate?
I would love to solve the plain version before I move onto the Master version or even Void master version.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure TomZ has a 30mm Pentultimate for sale. They aren't in his Shapeways shop though so you'll have to PM him. I think the price is approximately $130 for the print so it would cost you about $140 - $150 if you factor in screws and stickers and dye. I have one, it turns great.

Perhaps Tom can be persuaded to update his shop to reflect that the 30mm Pentultimate is available for sale?

Oh my gosh. This is amazing. One thing bothers me. Why is the edge of the dodecahedron not divided equally into thirds?

Will you sell this on shapeways?

One final question: could you make the hole pentagonal? I would love it more if it were.

This puzzle is actually proportional. While it bothers you, it pleases me :)

What an interesting optical illusion... Just noticed, but that peeling red sticker and my OCDish tendencies are not a good combination

The Void Master Pentultimate is beautiful. I especially like the juxtaposition of the circular hole in the pentagonal face because it makes clear that there is a "void" and not a centre.

Height: 60mm, edge: 27mm

Yes, this is possible. In parts set there are 2 kinds of the central parts, with a round and pentagonal hole

Simply amazing!
You keep moving the goal-post of puzzle-creating that bit further away.
True master. What can I say?
