Now that really is interesting! I thought from the video that it would function like a Rex cube with no centres but that is definitely not possible in the Rex cube!

Is it possible because of the "void" parity?

This puzzle is similar to a Compy Cube (shallow cut Dino Cube). Each turn is a 3-cycle of the edges. From the solved state a single turn puts the corner into an unsolved state and afterwards the 3 edges are cycled back by 3-cycles.

Nice looking puzzle! :D

Using the same mechanism as Eric's Redi 3x3x3, could a brillicube + brillcube II be made?
