I thought some of you might be interested in taking a free class on discrete optimization from cousera. It focuses on teaching real world math problems, to include lessons on writing a sudoku solver. Here is a link

I took that one, it wasn't as engaging for me as I had hoped. (probably due to my own laziness though)
But none the less I really like Coursera and the Khan academy and I appreciate what they are doing to promote free and accessible education for everyone.
