All cubes & pucks have been mailed. Everything went out Thursday except for a couple international ones that went today. I will post a message next week about the 5x5x5's.

Has anyone tried to remove the center caps on a studio cube that originally had the center caps attached? How are they attached? Glue? How hard is it to remove the caps?

I had someone try and remove them and they said it was extremely difficult. They even broke one of the caps trying to remove them.

Yes, the caps are glued. Often very strong. Very stupid. Of course you should never break the surface plate, better cut through the "wall" on the bottom and replace it later, e.g. glue a square plastic sheet under the plate.

hmmm. just wondering why the magics say made in china instead of made in hungary? and i would be interested in the 3 boxes for the studio cubes whenever they come in.

I think the plastic pieces are made in China, but assembled in Hungary. Not really sure though.

yeah the paper pieces say made in china, i ordered these mainly because i wanted a made in hungary one, i have like 5 black chinese magics :/ did anyone get made in hungary ones?

Right on Dodd!!! I got mine today. All the way to Spain in 5 days. Talk about fast!

Just noticed that the sticker configuration is different than my original cubes. My original cubes are red opposite orange, white opposite blue and yellow opposite green. No worries though, just an observation.

Thank you again for helping me out! It's hard to get things shipped here.

Well I didn't get a box for my new studio cube and there are bubbles under some of the stickers but thats not your fault thanks for getting them for me

WOW!!!! You like your old school color scheme. What I mean by that is.

red opposite orange, white opposite blue and yellow opposite green.

The new color scheme has to do with yellow, I have no idea why and also I like old school colors much better. It got changed in I think the year 2000. Now the new color scheme.

When ever I need to glue a cap I dont use super glue but use normal gluesticks and use a toothpick shave off some glue and spread on the edges. They do not come off while cubing while easy enough to pull off with no problem.

Yes, it's a well-known issue. See Ton's page on http://www.speedcubing.com for more info. Basically you just apply some glue to the screw, let it dry until it's tacky, then screw it back in and adjust the tension to your liking. After that they stay put.

I personally have never had this problem with my Studio Cube, but I don't use it much for speedcubing. I prefer the DIY kits for that.

R.E.T, of course it will be adjustable!

You only have to put a bit of glue, when screw is out of he cube. Then let it dry, and then insert again into the cube. This only will do the final part of the screw a bit fatter, in order not to fall appart.
