Today it's Kings day in the Netherlands. At a lot of places children (and adults) are selling used toys, CD's, wineglasses and other stuff at the sidewalk. I always try to find some puzzles. This year I think I got lucky, I spent €8.50 in total at 5 sellers:

Image
- A WWF Materball, mint condition in box with Dutch leaflet
- A Sudoku Cube made from 27 cubes
- Snake Cubes 4x4x4 (has yet to be solved)
- Beat the Computer No 0 (from Tenyo Co, Japan) with leaflet
- Packing problem with semi spheres on planks
- Something with 6 hexagonal prisms. I assume the object is to get 6 different colors on all six sides in the box. Does anybody know this puzzle? the lid has something written on it (photo below), can anybody read that?

Please let me know if you have any info on the hexagons puzzle.

That would still be Queen's day, but don't pin me on it. If I heard correctly earlier today said by Beatrix the name isn't going to be changed because it is dedicated to Juliana :)

Nice catch by the way. I have NO idea what that one is.. but it looks interesting alright!

I think a Brit needs to explain it - Next year, the national holiday will be King's Day instead, and will be held on Willem-Alexander's birthday, April 27.
I have been to the event myself in the past and always considered it the place to pick up that box of original Dino Cubes. So far I have only found regular stuff

You do indeed have to make no repeating colours on all six sides.

@Tony, Kattenvriendin
So, altough we now have a King, the day is called Queens day and next year we have a Kings day (27/4) AND a Queens day (30/4). I surely need a Brit to explain that :lol:

@Gus
Thank you for identifying the puzzle. Ill put it in my cabinet next to it's cubic little brother.
