Not new but I don't recall this being mentioned here before. It's not intended as a puzzle but I think technically it is one. Basically it's a safe that you twist (in one dimension only) to a certain position to open. Kind of like a poor man's Treasure Chest.

It looks like the idea is you mix it in with your other puzzles and a criminal wouldn't expect there to be valuables hidden in it. Kind of like those fake aerosol cans.

Yes but I'd steal it even if I didn't know it had valuables inside.

We found these in Washington during IPP (I mentioned it briefly in a post). Can't hold much more than a can of soda. There's a post of all of us with our safes in the Metro a little bit down the page after there was a rush on them from the Spy Museum store...good times.
