As someone who would prefer the 6x6x6 to be black with stickers I wondered what others thought.

interesting poll Tony...

hmm, there's always the classic look of black with stickers... but personally, i've always loved tiles (thanks to meffert's). if the price is right, i'd love to get them all :)

But yeah, white with tiles would certainly be different from the norm.

I would be happy with pretty much any color but I think tiles or at least very good stickers are necessary because 6*6*6= more than I want ever redo, unless of course it's to supercube it.

I personally like the old style of black plastic with vinyl stickers. But the white plastic is new so I am just not used to seeing a white cube making me hold on to the original way

i emailed olympicubes earlier this year. one of the questions that i asked was if they were going to produce just white 6x6x6's or both black and white? they said they are going to do both. i personally like black for most of my cubes but the 6x6x6 looks great in white.

I kind of have to agree to Adam. I like black plastic with stickers best, but the pics of the 6x6x6 in whit I have seen look pretty neat as well.
The only thing I actually don't prefer are tiles, at least not if they are so thick. I don't even really know why.

Is it just me or does white plastic puzzles/cubes get a whole lot dirtier a whole lot faster. Of course how are you going to clean the puzzle when it is dirty? Yes I would prefer black plastic puzzle over white

I love the tiles because there easier to hold, they also have grooves(lines on tiles), I think it looks nicer to and easier to grip a hold of the cube.

Actually that thought crossed my mind too once. Also I wonder about sun bleach. I don't know what is chemically proceeds when that happens (even though I think I saw a show about that some time ago) and if there is a way to produce plastic that is unaffected by that, but I have sure wittnessed it a couple of houndret times in my lifetime.

Personally, I just want one that works. :-)

I would prefer black with tiles though, given a choice.

Yeah, me too. Although if they come in different colors, I want one of each. Anybody know the exact dimensions of these things? I wonder if existing 5x5x5 stickers will work. I know the outer layer is a slightly different size than the inner layers.

I'd take it in purple with little pieces of paper glued to the cubies if that were the only way I could get one... but given a choice, I'd have to go with black with stickers to be consistent with my other cubes.

Hi Chris,

The 6x6x6 is 69mm per edge. This is about the same as the rubik's 5x5x5.

I would prefer black plastic on the cube, but like everyone else here, I will take what I can get. :)

I would have to go with black plastic. I would suspect that the white plastic would fade and age the way white/cream comp. moniters do. I also think the colors would jump out better from a black background than white.

I would also go with stickers...as much as I hate them wearing off I'm used to them at this point. I haven't used tiles in a while and don't really plan on going back.

What I actually meant was that I prefer stickers over tiles.

I personally like the look of black with stickers. Tiles are OK but, to me add too much surface relief. I am not a speedcuber so I can understand why others might like the tiles.
