Just got 4x4x3 from shapeways last weekend, and record a video today.
This sample is just for function testing, the 3D models are not optimized for printing, so it does not look as good as rendering.
Because of the tolerance, it is not very neat in outside appearance.
At first the center part can not be assembled with the cube, I have to cut it off.
There are also some big holes inside the corner parts and edge parts now.
I want to save some money, so did not make them caped.
In final version, they all will be covered.

Nice! That sure turns really smooth, not bad for a test print. I can't wait for the mass produced version.

Your photos are so nice they look like renderings.

It's really neat to see a mechanism that has clearly been designed for injection molding printed instead. I hope it all works out and the mass production process goes smoothly!
