I am quite a beginner at modding, and decided to attempt the half truncated cube. but since there is no apoxie sculpt available in my city (Dubai) i had to settle for a cheap gooey epoxy from a hardware store. But every time i try to combine the mixtures, they spread out onto my gloves... sooo. How can i mix the mixtures and apply them?> or is there a better solution available in Dubai?

Apoxie Sculpt has the consistency of modelling clay, so it can be easily shaped by hand, pressed into voids etc. It can also be easily sanded and smoothed to a fine finish. As you have found, normal two part epoxy glues tend to be quite thin, and cannot be used to replace AS (unless you have molds available).

You don't need epoxy for a half truncated cube, use plastic sheets for capping instead.

I don't know about Dubai but not every country in the world has credit cards or access to Paypal.
(My country Iran comes to mind for example )

Maybe you could try to search for Epoxy Clay or Epoxy Putty such as Selleys.
I think that is the most common product.
Or you could just find a modelling or sculpting community in Dubai and ask them about this.

I had this similar problem when I started to do puzzle mods and what I do is googling all day long and ask to a lot of people to find similar materials.,,It is exhausting but at the end of the day you will satisfied your curiosity..
Same thing happen when I want to buy Mini grinder and other tools for puzzle making actually..
