One minute ago I updated the museum. The year 2002 is still given in that entry. However I added a line that the prototype was finished in 1999.
On his website Tony states that he didn't reveal the puzzle before 2002.
In most cases there are no differences this big. For the future I now came up with a new rule. In cases of doubt the year in which the puzzle is revealed counts.
A hint for everybody:
Everybody can make updates to the museum.
In theory my job is focused on reviewing and accepting those updates.
