So, what does a collector do when he wants to fill in the holes of his collection? Who does he contact to obtain quality work? Well, what I've found is that there are a number of people within this community I can go to who have the expertise, generosity, and skills to get me exactly what I need. Claus Wenicker once again has shown me that twisty puzzle folks are the finest folks around!
Here I show his expert work in providing me with 4 and 5 layer dodecahedron mods!





Claus provided the smooth moving Lanlan 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 cubes, as well as the 3D printed pieces to glue and assemble. Stickers, of course, came for Oliver.
These have quickly become among my favorite puzzles. My thanks to Claus for providing such fantastic work, Showing himself to be once again one of twisty puzzles greatest resources!

Drool! They look fantastic - yet more to add to my rather large wish list.

I saw the turning quality on YouTube - very nice but might be even better with "the cube that must not be mentioned".

Interesting also how nice the home 3d printer results are. Much closer to the cast plastic from mass produced puzzles. Maybe this system would be a better system than Shapeways now that they seem to be having these quality control issues!

I am puzzled.
There already is a dodecahedral 5x5x5 in the museum but no 4x4x4. Have I missed it or is this the first one?
In case it is the first one I want to ask for measurements and weight.

First time I see the dodecs full assembled and stickered.
Both looking very nice.
