This is my first post and I thought I would introduce myself a little, so here goes nothing. My name is Ben Streeter and I am 16 years old. I am mostly interested in twisty puzzle building and designing. I prefer to do this through 3D printing, but I also make puzzles by hand. I like solving puzzles as well, but I usually only do this in my spare time.
With that out of the way, I would like to introduce one of my first custom puzzles: the Shapeshifting 3x3x6.

As you can see, it is a 3x3x6 cuboid, which is fully functional:

However, you will notice that it is not evenly proportional, and was designed this way on purpose: when turning the 3x6 sides by 90 degrees, you can turn the puzzle again. This turns it into a 3x3x3:

Now, a Cubic 3x3x6 also turns into a 3x3, but it doesn't shapeshift since it is cubic. However, by extending some of the layers to be fully proportional, they stick out which cause the puzzle to change shape.

The puzzle was designed in Solidworks and printed in WSF by Shapeways. Size is 57mmX57mmX85.5mm.
