I disassembled my 3x4x5 to lubricate it. Unfortunately, when I assembled it back, some of the faces locked up due to the centers not being aligned properly. I have to realign the centers just so I could turn the faces of the cube. How do I fix this problem? From disassembling my cube I got a tiny piece with two studs on it. I think the piece is of use to the cube alignment. If so, how do I attach it to the cube? Thanks. FYI: The version I have doesn't feature screws to the pieces.

My mistake it's actually one of the centre layer edge pieces. It has been a while since i did this now, i remembered wrongly. Instead of me trying to take mine apart to show you its easier to show you this:
