Just a quick note to let people know that rubiksmaster.com is now shut down. Traffic over the last few months has either been nil or me and the spiders!

I know a few people from here used to use it and a few came here from there. If you are one of those people, I thankyou for any time you spent over there.

Oh, I'll still be around here now and again (I do check daily, even if I don't post as often) or on rubiks.com (under the name borginator2) if anyone is desperate to reach me (I can't think why, but you never know).

The fact that 78 people have seen this and no-one has posted kinda reflects the reason I closed the site down.

I read your post, I visited the site to look and didn't have much to say - I've only been really into twisties for a year now and am too old to be a speedcuber. I hadn't actually heard of your site in my short time and whilst I am aware of other cubing forums I don't visit them because they are usually about speed or they get snarky! TP is the only twisty forum I visit.

I hope that all the experience you have will be channelled here instead - we are always grateful for insight here.

Thanks. Actually part of the reason the site closed down was my fault.

I had a major personal trajedy exactly a year ago today and it left me with more apathy for the things I loved. Since I was one of the main reasons the site kept going, with regular posts and new puzzle mods, when I stopped posting regularly it kinda withered. The same is true of my youtube channel. I haven't made a vid in nearly a year.

I've not modded in over a year now (I think). The last one I made was for a friend. I have 2 half finished mods that haven't been touched in a long time.

Hopefully I'll get the passion back at some point. I still solve, but haven't done any modding other than restickering. Maybe I'll do that again in the future...

It's nice to see you back online Heiowge. I enjoyed your videos and learned a lot about modding from you.
