Most people use the generic "the moon" rather than Luna so that fits. And followers of Luna are "Lunatics", and we've visited the moon. So who is the younger brother of the moon? Does the earth have another lesser known satellite that dances with us?

Is that directed at me? I can't say too much without giving it away.

Just thinking out loud, perhaps it will help someone else because I'm missing it...

TBH, I never would have got this (assuming it is correct) unless you had first mentioned the moon, as I was thinking of something more "down to earth".

So, if it is correct, here is another:

I am the golden boy, tall, proud and articulate, but I lack courage and rely on my brave little brother for his leadership, even though he cannot walk or talk. Who, or what am I?

Not quite the near earth asteroid I was thinking of but it fits as well so I'll accept it. The one I had in mind was 3753 Cruithne. You can read about it here:

http://www.astro.uwo.ca/~wiegert/3753/3753.html

In fact the first part of the riddle was nearly plagiarized from that first paragraph. I know I've heard it called Earth's Second Moon before. It seem however that many such asteroid are in similar situations.

Oops, I had no idea that asteroid existed so was a bit presumptious, but if you accept my answer then my last riddle stands... Any ideas anyone?

That's where the problem lies, all the riddles I can remember now are terrible riddles that are told for their (not so large) humoristic value, variants on the "sawdust" riddle and a riddle that relies on dice throwing and questioning the thrower.

So I leave the next riddle open to the next poster. :?

What is the *second* most difficult riddle/question ever?

Correct, because you can only answer that question when you've answered all other questions in the universe, except for the most difficult question itself.

Ouch. I also had that answer, but it wouldn't let me make another post so soon after my last. I left it open in my browser, and forgot about it.
Oh well

I am the answer to this riddle. I spend most of my time inside. When I am out I am in my 2 door car, which stand on either side of me.

Not what we are searching!
Hint: You write 'inside', I did write 'indoors'.

A lock ?

A lock is inside the door except when it's outside and when it is, it's generally on a gate, in between the two doors of the gate.

Yes it is a lock, a lock on a door (sitting in doors) or a lock on a river (between 2 doors). :)

Well, since Mixer never posted a new riddle, I will.

Name a word that becomes shorter if you add 2 letters to it.

I'm not sure about the "I'm not the brightest apple" reference but if that's an anti-Apple computer reference then I'm going with Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux Operating system -- something anyone with Android or a myriad of other devices would see every day.
