Hi TP Members, Days before I PM'ed Sandy, and later Dave and Roxanne for permission of making an exclusive offer to TP members in appreciations of supports from this community. They were just so kind you know. And you are having this offer below. To be neat, we are offering pre-assembled DIY kit to TP members, at a price as low as 45% off the original! Here's the list --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Product Name Original Price 20%-off DIY kit for TP members --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuttminx 55$ 44$ 31.2$ Classical Tuttminx 65$ 52$ 35.6$ Super Star 72$ 57.6$ 39.7$ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, all prices come with international registered airmail fee. The pre-assembled models will only be available during Nov 19 ~ Nov 25, only at http://www.verypuzzle.com . All orders will be shipped on Nov.27 plus/minus 1 day. Restrictions -------------- 1. In this offer, we are taking out 50 pcs of each product, regardless of body color. 2. Each account(email) has a maximum limit of 6 pcs of DIY kit, regardless of model or color. We originally considered a verification process of TP membership but privacy could be sensitive, like connecting TP account up with real person. So we give it up. Anyway, all buyers will have to read this post to know exactly what we are offering. This is the best way we can find for promoting TP members with least obvious problems. What's the content of DIY kit? - Sealed core with all center bases installed - Ready-to-use parts with spares - Standard stickers - Data sheet - Instruction table(may be provided as electronic document) All pre-assembled DIY kits will be activated in hours. Thank you for your kind support! PRODUCT LINK: http://www.verypuzzle.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=96Leave your question/suggestion here or verypuzzle(AT)gmail.com. Enjoy! I will almost certainly order one after work! Thank you very much for this kind offer!
Can anyone advise - which one to choose out of the Tuttminx or Classical Tuttminx? I see the different shaped cuts but can't see why one would choose one over the other. Thanks for the advice!

I was about to ask exactly this question - I'm curious what the differences are - I can only buy one so any advice would be appreciated by me too!

Thanks for the advice! I thought that they are essentially the same and it just came down to aesthetics and personal preference. I like the look of the curved cuts myself, so I went with that one!

There was a minor problem with the first one (the one with the curved cuts) some of the pieces could go into the wrong spots accidentally and it causes the puzzle to jam. This problem was rectified in the Classical Tuttminx. I have the first one, the problem is not unbearable, but if I had a choice I would go with the Classical.

My God! We live in a wonderful age! Here I am at work with only a mobile phone! Classical Tuttminx ordered and paid for by PayPal all over the mobile network! To think that this wasn't even a pipe dream 5 years ago! Unbelievable!

What a great offer, too good to miss as far as I'm concerned, so I've just ordered the classical tuttminx too, following the recommendations here. I was a little torn though, I think the other one actually looks nicer, but there's no point asking for advice if you're not going to follow it right? I'm not looking forward much to putting the stickers on though - I'm not good at it, i find it very difficult to do them well...

Kevin has to put his own stickers on too And don't forget you have to choose a colour scheme

I have got both versions and I actually liked the stickering. Currently I'm putting stickers on Greg's Micro Master Pentultimate. Oh my goodness, this is a real challenge for me I have bought glasses with magnifying lenses and an LED lamp, especially for this task. I wonder, how many saying that they like the Micro puzzles have actually assembled and stickered one. This is really at the edge of my capabilities. Putting normal stickers on mass-produced puzzles is a completely relaxing job, compared with superglueing microscopic corner stickers on a Micro Dodecahedron. As it seems, the result is quite rewarding, though. (I have still five faces to go.) As for your decision which Tuttminx you should buy: Burgo has explained the difference and I agree, that you can avoid illegal turns on Leslie's version by making it tight and using some concentration. The other question is how often you will solve your Tuttminx after a few weeks. (It is a relatively easy puzzle.) Looking at my own experience, I could very well live with a decision based on the question, which I would prefer optically. I ordered the Super Star, because I could not resist Leslie's price offer.

Very likely, my eyes are the oldest ones in the universe that have ever looked at a Micro Master Pentultimate not speaking about stickering one. These puzzles were too expensive for my pocket. But this great offer was too difficult to resist, so I'm getting both the Classical Tuttminx and the Superstar. I'm gonna have to be super careful if I want to make it to the end of the month Thanks a lot Leslie for this great offer

OK, here is what my old eyes (and @Brandon : my patience ) could manage: I made an offer to Marty to sticker his Tuttminx, but he had ordered it already. I'm sure he will manage the stickering quite well.

Leslie Thank you Leslie! I, and I'm sure quite a lot of others, have wanted one of these but the price has always meant it was low down the list of puzzles to buy. Your very very generous offer to the forum is greatly appreciated and has meant that many of us will have a nice new shiny puzzle to play with very soon! Unfortunately for me - I hate stickering because I'm awful at it! But it's too good an offer to miss!

Although...best give me warning before ordering a Petaminx or the like. Good luck with the stickering! I look forward to reading about it in the future.

Thank you guys, thank-you! We are packing now... expect two very busy days.
@Puzzlemad: thank you for your kind support and appreciation. Usually we tend to make things better rather than cut price lower, this is the way we go. In the long run though, the price will come close to true mass production level (the production quantity we were working on was nowhere near a true mass production). We are small business rather than pipelines, hope you will understand. This forum is where my project started, so the offer was meant to appreciate the supports from this community.
About stickering: if we were to find some random labor to sticker the tuttminx, that'll truly be a loss of your payment I believe. Anyway, this time the most challenging thing is likely to be putting all parts together to have something to sticker on. ^^
@Drake: 30 plus/minus 10 days as we guarantee at a 98% confidence.

Hi Leslie,
I'm not really complaining about stickering! I wouldn't expect you to lose money over paying someone to do it! I whine because I don't enjoy it but I will really enjoy the puzzle when done! Thank you again!

rubikaz wrote: Have the puzzles been shipped? I have not received any email confirming it yet. Yes all of them was shipped on Nov 27 and Nov 28. ALL packages have passed customs here according to internal inquiry network. Normally, you should be able to track them via postal network in your country once the package enters your country. The tracking number was sent to your ordering email, we do this to every order. These days however, I was told that the postal inquiry system is being updated. Sites like intmail and 17track are not working properly due to this reason.

I have not received anything to say it has shipped and because I made the order whilst at work on my mobile phone I did not create an account. Is there any way I can find out whether it has shipped and get my tracking number?
Thanks!

I'm surprised about this. Here's where I notify customers about tracking numbers and shipping status: Attachment:

As always, I update shipping information in this page and thought that it will be sent to customers. Can anyone confirm just 1 case of receipt of tracking number and the order was made recently ( within 1 month)? I need to know whether it is completely not working or partially not working. Anyway, for temporarily before I fix this problem, try log in your account at verypuzzle.com, the updated information should always be there. Also, the first batch of Void Tuttminx has been sent and the tracking information has been updated this afternoon.

I made an order on the 19th of november and cannot confirm the receipt of a tracking number on my email.... Still could find it in my account though. That said, I can't find a tracking website that finds a trace of my tracking number. Anyway, considering the great offer it was, I can afford a long wait

I have received a confirmation and a tracking number - one for each order. They work on my local (Brazil) tracking system.

Hey Leslie, I have ordered on November 19th. I got no email. Your website says that it was shipped on November 28th. China Post doesn't find it with the supplied tracking number.
I'm not worried, I wrote this just for your information.

I placed my order on November 20 2012 and received a confirmation email with my order number, 616. I am not registered on your site so I did not receive a tracking number. The only email I received was the confirmation of the order. As with above, I'm not worried, just posting for your information. Max

Neither I received any order confirmation, but today the classical tuttminx arrived. I'm not worried about the stickering, but the assembling... it's many pieces and I guess that it will be harder to solve than the finished tuttminx itself. I think I can see it as an 2 in 1 puzzle! Thanks Leslie!
