Hello everybody
Today I want to present my first mod of a puzzle.
The puzzle that I moded is a Dayan crazy 3x3x2.
I have moded it in two steps.

First idea was the 3x3x4 Donut Cube (maybe you can sugest another name).
I just extended the circle pieces and unbandeged the yellow side.
The result was a 3x3x4 with some special moves but it wasn't realy that much different to solve (just some bandaging at the end).

The next step to make it a little bit more interesting was to expose the hidden centers and sticker them.
I also unbandeged the white face to allow even more 3x3x5 moves.
I'm very happy with the result and its not easy to solve at all. (parity is also possible, I'm not sure)
In the next pictures I just scrambled it without turning the upper and lower layer to demonstrate the shapeshifting.

This is awesome! I had read that the Crazy 3x3x2 is related to the 3x3x4, but I never quite understood how, especially with the "special" move. It all makes sense now.

The special moves are possible because its related to a 3x3x3 or 3x3x5 to be more precise.
I have uploaded now a video of the Overlapping 3x3x5 cube. I had some problems to scramble it and bring it back to normal shape because I'm not so familiar with the puzzle yet ^^ Its realy fun to solve because you have to bring it back to normal shape (not allways that easy ) and fix the centers afterwards because they can intershange (also more difficult then on a 3x3x3).
