Hi Twisty Puzzles fans,

Geared Hex is a hexagonal version of Bram's Cube. The hexagonal part turns similar to a Rubik's Cheese or a Rubik's UFO puzzle. The top and bottom layers are connected by a set of gears at the middle layer. The gears are split in half, which allows even more scrambling.

NICE!!! I really like this puzzle and it turns like a dream.

But I just noticed Shapeways is now using white text for the picture titles/captions. That doesn't work so well with pictures with a white background. I wonder when they made that change.

Beam showed me the drawing of this at IPP. It looks so much nicer in person. I like the shap that's made when the gears are turned half over. Very pretty!
